- basic WelshThis is very good as a start to help learn pronouciations which are quite tricky. It has a lot of words and a few phrases but you don't come away with any idea how to construct a sentence.
Definitely a good and fun way to start

- Rreview of 'Learn Welsh'This is certainly the way to start learning Welsh. Not only can you see the item but you can practice speaking it by using your microphone to record the word and play it back. This is great, but the range of words is limited. For instance the numbers do not go higher than 20. I'd recommend this for a beginner.

- HmmmGood learn welsh CD Rom, especially for beginners as it includes fun games. However, beware, if you have a 2002 + version of Windows XP it will not run without an Indeo Video Player (which you can buy online).

- Talk Now Welsh - It's great!I wanted to learn Welsh but the evening class was at the wrong time so I bought this CD Rom instead- I'm glad I did. I learnt lots of words and phrases - to read and say. In just 3 days I had earned enough points to get a gold award! The games are great fun, the recording phase is great - you can compare your pronunciation with the real one and see how good or bad you really are. - Diolch yn fawr!Until I found this software, I could have had NO idea of how to pronounce the above phrase. You see, the speaking/listening bit of language learning is very different from the reading/writing bit.
Hence, many years after French A-Level, I can still read and write French (with the aid of a dictionary) - but I'm hopeless at actually speaking it!
