- pretty goodHaving upgraded pc and upgraded to this from an old version of family tree maker, I found this program easy to use with a wealth of features. The report facility is not bad, with useful things like lists of missing information etc, but I found the diagrams available a little limited, not much better than my old program. - Powerful StuffFound it easy to get going and liked all the different chart options. Lots of different reports and could simply print them or edit them.
I Liked free Birth Marriage and Death data which got me started on a new line.
I feel the package grows with you as the more I use it the more features I find.

- Easy to use and ComprehensiveAfter reading several magazine reviews I thought I would give RootsMagic a try. I already have Family Tree Maker but wanted something that would offer better research and reporting features.
It’s really easy to use, and the first thing I really liked was the wall chart report. - Not sure what to buy?I compared all the packages and roots magic looked the best. Having used it I found it was easy to pick up and had loads of features.
There's lots of useful research material on the CD's that are included and I managed to find some long-lost relatives with the online BMD subscription. The subscription was free and it didn't ask me to put in my credit card details which put me off other so-called free trials.
I'd recommend rootsmagic to anyone.
