- Brilliant Die FledermausA superb production. The singing is wonderful, the acting superb and everyone has such fun that it is hard to imagine anyone failing to be enchanted by this production. The late and very great Hermann Prey employs his Puckish sense of humour to the full and he and Benjamin Luxon strike sparks off each other. The unusual interaction with the conductor gives added sparkle to a superlative performance. Unbeatable!

- THE MOST ENJOYABLE "FLEDERMAUS" EVER !This is the most enjoyable performance of Die Fle-
dermaus that anyone can find on record. I have seen almost everything available on video or disc
and seen live performances in Berlin, Munich,Vien-
na and NY and this by far is the best performance.
It sometimes "clicks" and it certainly did at the
Royal Opera House on New Year's Eve in 1983. I do
hope they will issue it on DVD.

- excellentJust one segment I did not like. This was in the end of the second act in the party when thje modern part was added to the operetta. Very lengthy asnd undesireable. The rest of the opera is A+++++
