- Catchy for ChristmasThis is a very jaunty CD with a mix of some great Christmas party songs such as Jingle Bell Rock by Randy Travis and some more touching ones like O Holy Night by Tevin Campbell. They are performed by artists that you wouldn't necessarily expect to hear singing them and in some instances are all the better for that.
Standouts on this album for me include Christmas All Over Again by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers as well as Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Ronnie Spector and Darlene ... Read More

- Maintaining the standard of the first volumeThe first volume of A very special Christmas was incredible, but this follow-up is just as good and even more eclectic. Now, I have wide musical tastes but I can't believe there are too many people who enjoy listening to Randy Travis (singing Jingle bell rock here) and also enjoy the music of Run DMC (rapping Christmas is). Country and rap just do not mix, even though the Bellamy brothers once recorded a song called Country rap - it was a good try but didn't really work. And even if you are in the minority ... Read More

- Something Different For ChristmasI really like this CD, as it offers some great Christmas songs, done with a diference. My favourite track is "Santa Claus is coming to town" duet by Cyndi Lauper and Frank Sinatra. All the tracks are great and of the 3 A Very Special Christmas compliations, I really think this is the best one. Put it on and dance around this Christmas
