- A welcome progressionVolume 2 of Chrono Crusade greatly surpasses vol.1 with an electrifyingly tense story progression, and a welcome retreat from the shows lame comedy set-pieces (which are the main dampener on the opening episodes). A welcome change is the 'Elder' being almost completely left out of the story. I find his character extremley annoying in vol.1 and he isn't missed. And he is eerilie similar to 'Uncle' from 'Jackie Chan Adventures'.
